How to access engine error codes on a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with out using a code reader?

Question

On a Dodge Neon the method is to turn the ignition key from (Acc/Off/On) 3 times and the codes read out on the odometer, is there a similar method for Cavaliers?

There is none,GM does not provide that option, The only way to get the code is with a scan tool.
