There is no recall, These catalytic are sensitive to misfire,vacuum leaks.P0420 is a lean condition the fuel trim data has to be read,and corrected. This means that the 02 sensor must cycle from rich to lean within 0,5 to 5 hertz to be effective,any mechanical or powertrain management must be corrected.
