Found the connectors to be dry and all connections to have continuity from sensor to the computer connector under the mat on the passengers side....took the sensor out and tested it ...came in at 1k ohms ...the thing is when i installed it and connected it then tested it from the computer connector while rolling the front wheel with meter set on Ohms the reading shows ohms to begin with and open if u spin it by hand faster....with the meter on A/C it shows power but with breaks in between....tried doing the same test with the abs sensor and never shows an open condition....Im thinking i should get a sensor and go from there....did i miss any other test? Also inspected the front connector in front of the transmission and no signs of corrosion or water contamination...i should have stated b4 that i have reverse instantly but need to rev it when in drive and the nasty clunk comes and the gear selector on the dash turns red (guess thats the limp mode)and then after reving engin
e the car starts moving with alot of what i call slippage....eventually down the road the faster u go the better it feels...looks like its in 4 or 5th gear looking at the rpms....hope this is helpful...already changed the fluid and filter on the trans...previous change was done 50k b4...the fluid looked good and no metal present ...the magnets had a minimal black film....

Thanks again

p17114 - P0703 Before you do anything  test the brake light switch, it  has to be in proper working order for a Audi,The brake light is a normally open switch the TCM uses this signal, Also P0703 which is a transmission code is brake switch "B" circuit malfunction, The brake light switch not operating will put you in limp mode.
