how do I fix a P0176 code for a 2000 ford ranger 3.0

Question

my abs light is on and the engine runs a little rough
there is a service bulletin # 152 issued 3-19-2001 about this but no ideas how to repair for code p0176

Water intrusion at electrical connector C309 or C340 under driver seat

Action to take inspect affected connectors clean or replace connector pins as necessary . Install new sleeve and boot assembly 14401 connector (interior)

Inside the cab remove drivers scuff panel peel carpet or vinyl lining back to gain access to top portion of connector C039F if the connector are beyond repair or the ability to clean you will need to replace the pins. The connector location is C309
