P0121 P1544 Volkswagen Eurovan 1997

Had new wires and coil pack fitted yesterday - after 15 minutes driving had these codes and when press accelerator often get no response, low rpms, then car kicks back in to action, makes gear changes jerky and when i restatred car it stalled.

P0121 Throttle position sensor "A" circuit range performance

P1544 Throttle actuation signal too high

This is a exactly what a failed throttle valve control module does, You will have no throtlle response,this is also a input for transmission  control, and uses a actuator for idle speed.But what gets me is P0121 A skewd MAF (mass airflow sensor) will also set off a TPS sensor code, so make sure the air duct for the MAF is securely connected to the throttle body and is not taking in false air leaks
