P0220 when cold, drive over 0.03 miles and the problem disappears. P02110 when VERY COLD! Drive over 2 miles and the problem disappears. Wait until Spring-Summer-Autumn here in Florida and you have no problem! I've already replaced the TPS and had the dealer check behind me--that doesn't solve the problem! Next, I am thinking about replacing the Body Assembly-Throttle. I am grasping at straws!

Unfortunately it does sounds you may have a problem with the throttle body assembly.

"Throttle body assembly" is NOT a bad answer! It's a moderately expensive answer, but NOT a bad answer! I take this to mean I need to replace the throttle body assembly to solve the problem. If so, do you recommend I purchase one throttle body assembly, or try to get a deal on a six-pack?

@100,000 miles, this vehicle continues to give me terrific service.....except on cold morining starts. The work-around is being very smooth with the throttle and carrying an ODB-2 meter to reset the engine light. I've searched the service bulletins and found some regarding throttle body replacements--enough to think that Hyuandai may have a design problem. I worry that I will replace one flawed throttle body assembly with another. Is there any indication that Hyuandai or its parts manufacturers have recognized a problem and corrected something?

Rather than replace one flawed part with another flawed part, I will  use this as my warm-weather car until I can stand it no longer and trade it in during a Tarzan-Hot summer month here in Florida!

So here is the follow-up question: Replace the part and solve the problem for another 100,000 miles? Or continue to work-around the problem and look for another car to love?
