both codes went off together

Vehicle: 2004 sedona

P0302 Misfire # 3 cylinder

P0501  VSS (vehicle speed sesnor) out of range

P0302 is a misfire code this can be from the ignition coil to a sparkplug, As for P0501 the signal is sent to the speedometer and is used in cruise control, There is no link between the two
