P1441 Evaporative emission system flow during non purge.

As for a FTP (Fuel tank pressure sensor) you dont have one. What a 1996 Chevy impala has is a EVAP pressure control valve acting as a pressure relief valve, when pressure in the tank exceeds 0.7 psi  the diaphram opens allowing vapors to vent to canister, When the tank pressure drops below 0.7 psi the valve closes causing vapor to be held in the tank. P1441 on you vehicle can be caused by vacuum lines at the evap purge solenoid are reversed, use the underhood sticker for the correct route.
