P1660 A/T-FI Data Line Failure/TCM - ECM Halt

P1660 This is a fault that can be between the TCM and the ECM, The first is to determine whether you have a wire connection problem,Turn the ignition switch off, with the ECM connector disconnect  ECM D (thats the 22 pin) and the TCM connector 26 p (26 pin connector) test for continuity at ECM 2 and TCM 20..If you dont have continuity you make repair between ECM D2 and TCM. If you have continuity, then you measure for a short, At the ECM (22 p) D2 and body ground ,if there is continuity you have a short,If there is not you subsitute a known working TCM, and recheck for code P1660 If P1660 codes up you will need a ECM.
