cODE p1448 and P0455

Question

Our 2000 Nissan Sentra will not idle right. It goes back and forth from 1000 to 2500 rmp. Has code p1448 and P0455 when put onto computer. WOndering what to start with?

P01448 you do first this is about EVAP vent control valve remains open, this will cause P0455.P1448 mean large gross leak like a gas cap out, or rupture filler neck to even the evap control solenoid itself.  When you have a vehicle that idles from 1000 to 2500.you have a vacuum leak,and this can be related,that or a open PCV valve,to a EGR valve in the open position taking in false air.Look for vacuum leak.
