my check engine light came on auto zone gave me code p1576 i have a 1999 saab 9-5 model what is this code how can i fix this issue

This code is for the brake pedal position switch. This is the brake light switch in most cases and replacing it will resolve the issue. If you have cruise control, there may be a separate switch on the brake pedal bracket as well.
