the car shifts fine thats just the code im getting, where is this silinode at how easy would it be for me to do the repair myself?

P0744 Torque convertor clutch circuit intermittent, You ask if the solenoid going out, well the code means intermittent and I believe it is intermittent, and no the torque convertor is not going out, This solenoid is located int he transmission valve body, Depending on where you are at these are only available as a set, The main cause that I see in this code is usually not the solenoid itself, but where the harness is located at. The harness is most likely the problem you are facing, its under the battery tray and corrosion is mainly the culprit clean the transmission harness connector and check for loose pins and clean the pins and if the battery has corrosion especially at the tray clean that also.
