On my Nissan I got the engine code P1754, what is this code and what's the best way to fix it?

First check if there is transmission fluid in the radiator.

If there is transmission fluid mxied in the radiator it means that the radiator failed and coolant have damaged the transmission.

Nissan has extended the radiator warranty for the transmission to 10 years / 100,000 miles.: http://www.nissanassist.com/web/Radiator/index.php?menu=20

If no coolant is found in the transmission you may have to replaced the Control-Valve Assembly inside the transmisssion. See "Tech note" of the code page for a link ot the service bulletin.
