P0740 DODGE -

Question

I have a 1998 Jeep GrandCherokee 5.9 with a 46re transmission . I keep getting code p0740. The problem is after torque convertor lock-up at speeds abovr 40mph and upward the the vehicle surges under moderate pulls . If your crusing and not accelerating just maintaing current speed on level ground there is no surge. I do not seem to experience the surges above 60 mph. I even think Its temp. related at warmer temps it seems to surge less but still surges.Have changed fluid and filter replaced all solnoids in transmission . It shifts fine no problem. Have any Ideas?
