I have a 2004 1500 4.7 the engine cuts out at 4000 rpms and then throws a p2074 code
1) checked all the vacum lines, all looked good
2) replaced the map sensor .
3) replaced the intake manifold thinking the old one must have had a crack in it. After all of that I still have the same problem can't go over 4000 rpm when engine bucks and stalls then throws out the p2074 code NEED HELP BAD!

Vehicle: 2004 DODGE 1500 4.7

P2074 Manifold pressure/Throttle correlation

When this code set was there any other code with it?Because those have to be done first. When this code occurs it mainly to detect large intake manifold cracks, vacuum leaks form PCV valve needs to be inspected,So does the brake booster, This code also set if the throttle plate is binding, The TPS (throttle position sensor) is you next step. A failing TPS sets off this code, is there anyway a good known subsitute is available, other than that you need to test the TPS, There is also a fast solution,do a throttle body cleaning the throttle can bind and they do bind and set this code off, so does a restricted exhaust, low fuel pressure,
