P1580 Electronic throttle system,The whole assebly, In a event of failure your vehicle will go in limp mode, which is a fixed idle,To test it you need a volt meter or labscope would be better, On the throttle body assemby go to APP1 signal wire, which is a white wire  at idle should read 4.2 volts and decrease smoothly as the throttle is opened. Now you test APP signal 2  which is a white and red wire at idle it should read 1.4 volts and increase when you open the throttle. Now you test APP signal 3 which is a white and blue wire at idle it should read 0.9 and increase smoothly as throttle is opened. Now you go to the throttle motor test the green-yellow wire it should have 12 volts ypu maily need a labscope for this because you snap throttle and check for drop outs, on the labscope there should be no drop outs or glithes, Next move to TPS signal #1 at idle it should read 4.1 volts (TPS signal is White) and decrease smoothly without dropout or glitches as the throttle is opened. Now move to TPS signal #2 it should read about 1.4 and increase without glitches or drop outs when the throttle is opened (TPS signal is white-red), Next move to TPS signal #3 at idle it should be 0.8 and increase as throttle is opened without dropout or glitches. If you find any fault you replace the whole assembly
