P1271 CHEVROLET -

Question

After getting trouble code P1271, I did some reading on the blogs and the most common response I got was to replace the Accelerator pedal position sensor. After I replaced the Accelerator pedal position sensor I didn't get an error code for more then 3 weeks and thought the problem was resolved, but the P1271 code was set again this morning. I will look at the harness as a possible problem, but if that appears not to be the fault, what else should I look at? Thank you.

P1271 APP  correlation, This code can be inttermittent,,When I see this code appear look at the transmission condition, The reason I say this drive by wire which has replaced downshift cable, but you really need a labscopoe to find this problem,another problem I find with this code comes up as rational code pointing to the TPS sensor (trhottle position sensor ) which is a seperate unit, This mediates between APP1 and APP2 . If you want replace the TPS this is the one that correlates between APP1 and APP2,It is the most likely of the 2 sensor that cause the code of P1271.
