P0022 TOYOTA -

I have a 2008 toyota tacom code p0022 came on i changed both valve camshaft cyloniods and sensores still have the noise pulled oil pan and have metal shavins in the oil pan put manual oil gage on and still get 50 to 60 lbs oil presure oil light flashes what could this be

P0022 camshaft over retarded with metal shavings and noise?what broke apart,? Check the timing chain and the guides,you find the noise, if its comming from the chain area reaplace the gears the chain, the timing tensioner,oil pressure good, just because you get this on the gauge,use a oil pressure feeder, use a hudson sprayer fill it with oil shoot it in through the oil  sending unit and see if the cam shaft  is leaking oil out.
