So I installed my purge valve (part # 058133753B) on my 2003 Volkswagen GTI. I also had to replace my dipstick tube because it broke when I was doing the install. The installation went fine but when I started the car after install (it had a really had time starting) the EPC light (Not on before repair) and check engine light (which was on before install) are now both on. I took the car for a test drive and it seemed fine until I hit 5000 RPMs and it almost felt like the boost gave out. I tried again and the same thing is happening.

Current problems:

EPC light and Check engine light
Revs are high idle around 1200 rpm is the lowest it will go
I turned the car off and now it will not start at all
When it was running it was lacking boost at around 5000 rpms

Does anyone know where I can start with this?

EPC (electronic power control) This can come do to a lean running condition, check for vacuum leaks ,I want to put a finger on the MAF (mass air flow) only because it has a high failure rate,Try disconnecting it and see if it will start,Your basically running lean its almost like a fuel pressure problem.
