ran over a wombat no instant drama drove 100 km arrived at destination following morning woke up to find engine light on and a problem with heater sensor or something had this code P0056 is it major or something that can wait

P0056 Heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2, what is mean is the 02  got damage,blood could of messed up the wire to this sensor, this sensor is the one after the catalytic,so check the catalytic for damage,because these catalytic can fracture and plug up the exhaust,so if its looks good no external damage you will need just the 02 downstream sensor,
