Hello, first of all.
im a small mechanic in imperial valley. they brought me a 04 maxima w/ a bad ground connection. i looked into it and found that it was very common on these cars. i fixed the ground wire and noticed the check engine light not turning on.I came to find that the ecm had burned out do to the ground. also found out that coils and other things can come up do to this failure. when i put the new ecm, i get a check engine light, but no impulse to injection or spark. What my question is, Could this be due to the ecm not being reprogramed to the key, or is the ecm not compatible? The last 4 numbers are not the same. Any help here would be great!

                                                                                              thanyou,
                                                                                              Tops Auto

Oh! im also getting codes P1610,P01611 and U1000,U1001.

The ECU's a number or letter combo on them, you have to find the same one. (See picture) This ECM is a CN so you have to get another one that says CN. Also the keys have to be programmed to the ECM or it wont start
