On my 2002 Infiniti QX4 V6 3.5L, my engine light blinks on the highway with the p1490 code. I need help, please.

The P1490 should not make the engine light flash, the code is for emissions problem. To fix the P1490 you could start by inspecting the EVAP canister. Remove the canister and check if carbon is coming from inside the canister. If the canister is OK you may have to replaced the Vacuum cut valve bypass valve.
