when i check my car it display (P0420) for my corolla 2005 TOYOTA.

P0420 code means the catalytic converter of your Corolla is not working properly. You probably have to replaced the the catalytic converter to fix the problem. Before replacing the converter you should try using high octane gas, sometimes the high octane gas will help clean the catalytic converter.
