P0443 FORD - I replaced the solenoid and its still an active code?

I originally had a p0443 and a p0455, i replaced the purge solnoid and the evap leak went away. now the the code p0443 is still on. it went off breifly and then the light came back on with the same diagnosis.

Vehicle: 1998 Ford Taurus 3.0 OHV

check and see if you have power and ground going to the solnoid
