have a 07 nissan maxima with a code p0445

i have an 07 nissan maxima with a code p0445 evap canister purge volume control valve short to ground. i have already changed the purge valve and solenoid both with dealer parts but the code keeps coming back. im not sure what else it could be i was told it could be a bad pcm, how can i check if the pcm is good? could an evap leak also cause this code?any help would be greatly appreciate

The code means that the "EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve" is shorted to ground, the problem could happen if the valve is either damage or the wire from the Engine Control Module (ECM) to the valve is shorted to ground. If you have already replaced the valve, then the problem is probably a short wire to ground.
