i have a 2003 ford focus st170, i have been having trouble with this for awhile. i later found out that this car had already snapped the cambelt and been repaired. earlier this year it had the trouble light come on but all it said was that timing out of paramiters. in aug in died completely. i got it home put the obd2 on it and it said crank and vct sensor i ordered these while i was waiting for the vct sensor to turn up limited no in australia. i replaced the crank sensor. upon removing the crank sensor it was evident that this was the problem. as the end had been opened up at this point i could not find any cause. I inspected the area with mirror, also put camers in and could not see anything majorly wrong in went the new sensor. two days later same trouble so this time the motor and gear box was split insitu this time again the crank sensor was destroyed. this time i found a plastic grommet with ford P/n it was from a hole on the flexi plate between the motor and gearbox thinking that this was all my trouble i installed new crank angle sensor and went for a drive. it died, now im peveed so once again i got it home. i removed motor and gearbox in one hit. a friend who is a fleet mechanic for a trucking company helpped out by sugesting i might have crank end float. sure enough i did upon removing the sump and gurder i found that the no 3 main bearing upper half the thrust ) had chernobled. so 2nd hand engine was brought low k's under 80,000ks that turned up seized so the crank was removed, i put my motor back together first run i came back and and obd2 reader said that timing was too far advanced. when the new cambelt was installed i had a book brought from Snap On on installing timebelts on this thing. second drive its now giving same trouble but with the OBD2 reader comming up with P0190 fuel rail sensor, now i have checked everything i can around this area, i dont beleive i have any vac leaks nor do i have low fuel, or any loose connections in the plugs.

if any one thinks they may be able to help do not hesitate to email me
