2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer 6 Cyl. with P2138 code. does this code damage the throttle body?

This code should not affect the throttle body. This code is for the app sensor on the gas pedal and really is not connected in any way to the throttle body because it sends signals to the computer, then the computer controls the throttle.

The P2138 is for the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation, and it' unlikely that the APP sensor will damage the throttle body.
