P0460 FORD - wher is the sensor located and what does it look like

Engine light is comingh on code is showing p0460 I have erased code will it come back on and how will effect performace. Also where is the fuel sensor located f-350 2006 6.0 desiel

Hi there

This code is for the fuel level sensor. This is in the fuel tank. Typically it will not affect engine performance, however if you don't have an accurate reading of the tank it could cause you to run out of fuel.
