Do you know what's more than likely the issue, the Turbine Revolution Sensor sensor itself, the valve body, or the TCM. Any help would be appreciated. The dealership has run all types of diagnostics and they came up with it's 50/50 on it's the valve body that needs to be replaced or I need a rebuilt transmission.

The sensor is part of the valve body, so the problem it's probably the valve body, but due the high mileage of your coupe you should consider replacing the entire transmission.

Thanks for the quick response.  I went by the dealership this afternoon and talked to the tech.  The Turbine Revolution Sensor on my coupe is actually in the back of the transmission (inside) and it's wired to the valve body.  There are no instructions in the tech manual on how to test the sensor itself so the tech is going to call Infiniti engineering tomorrow.  So, it could be the sensor itself or the valve body.  Tech says that there's no debris in the pan and the trans fluid looked good.  Tech has been an Infiniti tech for many years but this is his first P1716.  I really think he's trying to do the right thing.
