P1138 NISSAN - Does warranty cover this repair - people are saying the 70k was extended

2005 Nissan Sentera Swirl control valve - has the 70k mile warranty been extended in California
dealer was not specific when I asked the question

We are not aware of any warranty extension, but the Sentra's sold in California have a "Long-term Emission Warranty" which is 7 years or 70,000 miles service. The warranty covers most items related to emissions.  Just with the code you can really know what part is the problem. You have to have the dealer inspect the vehicle and determine what part is the problem and then find out if is cover under warranty.
