My 2005 Nissan Titan SE 4X4 is giving me a P1716 code. I searched the "Codes List" but no code is available for Nissan.

Question

The "Service Engine Soon" light came on while I was engaged in 4 wheel drive low mode. I immediately checked all fluid levels and made sure there was no burnt smell coming from any of them. As far as the light being on the truck drives well, but I'm still scared because I don't know what the code means.

Unfortunately since the revolution Sensor is inside the transmission, there is no much you can do. I suggest clearing the code first. If the code comes back, then you may have to have the dealer check for you.
