dtc-p0010 what does this code mean

Question

repair shop says this is the code for check engine light on 2009 chevy cobalt. Said I got the wrong oil and now need new sensors for the cam. Never heard of wrong oil problem before.

The P0010 code is for the  Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid, and the solenoid is controlled by oil. Dirty oil or wrong oil weight (too thick) can cause the solenoid to stop working correctly.
