Is a fuel level sensor circuit high input already connected to a new fuel pump

I had a new fuel pump put on my 2007 Chevy Malibu and at inspection time I received the code of p0463 fuel level sensor circuit high input do I buy this piece separately or is it already connected to the fuel pump and haven't been connected prperly

Hi there,

Depending on the year of the car, it may be part of the fuel pump module. If it isn't, it is sold separately as the fuel level sensor. Without knowing the year of the car it's difficult to know.
