engine light came on, did diagnostic code: P0421

bank 1, does that mean to replace catalytic converter and my oil sensor comes on then goes away...Please help.

Hi there,

This does usually indicate the converter will need to be replaced. It's also possible if the engine is running poorly or if you have an exhaust leak to get this code. If neither is present, then I would replace the converter.
