What does 1997 Infiniti Q45 Code 1012 mean? It shows up on my mechanic's computer with no further explanation. What does it mean is wrong?

Could be that your mechanic's scanner it's not compatible with Infiniti models. The codes has to have a letter P, B, C or U in front. For example P1000, but there is no P1012 code for the 97 Q45.
