2000 Ford F250 5.4L V8 with engine code P1120, any ideas?

Question

2000 Ford F250 5.4L V8 with engine code P1120. TPS tested with meter and passes on all 3 leads but OBDII TPS reading is < 5% at full throttle. Any ideas?

Hi there,

This indicates a wiring issue between the TPS and the computer. Unless you are checking the wiring right at the computer pins, then the computer is the likely culprit. I would following the wiring harness and see if it's broken or rubbing against the engine block someplace causing the problem.
