PO135 - oxygen sensor - 2005 Chevrolet Impala - where/how can I locate it - how do I test the sensor?

Bank 1 sensor 1 is in front of the engine on the exhaust manifold (near the dipstick)

If the o2 sensor connector is not damaged the sensor is usually bad, there is not really a need to test it
