any help check engine on obd2 reads p500

obd2 states speed sensor problem not sure if speed sensor or gauge problem

Vehicle: 1997 Nissan pickup xe 2.4

Could be either one. Start by inspecting the connector at the speed sensor and at the back of the speedometer head. If the connector are OK you could start by replacing the sensor.
