So in regards to this code, as I am not wanting to take it to a mechanic to have this problem diagnosed right now. I fixed the known problems that were wrong and there is still a flashing check engine light with the same one code, P0305. I have changed the spark plug, replaced the coil pack, replaced the PCV valve (it was really gunked up and clogged), I replaced the air intake hose as that could have been my vacuum leak (it was completely split right at the manifold). After doing all of this, the check engine light is still flashing, after starting the car it sounds normal then will slightly bog down then run higher RPMs (around 1500), and then when shifting into gear RPMs lower and runs rough. Could this be a fuel injector issue at this point? This is the only thing I could really think of that needs replacement.

When driving, it will throw other misfiring codes, but after clearing the codes and then starting the car ot will run fine for a minute and then the check engine light will come on again flashing and just throw that one cylinder misfire code

My other thought as well is that I am checking the wrong plug and coil. The one I checked and replaced was the front middle coil and plug but some articles I was reading says that it could be #5 in the firing order but I'm confused on what one that would be if it's not the one I changed.

I checked a national database of repairs for your model and year. Out 580 repairs reported for this code, 310 the problem was the spark plugs and 260 the ignition coil, and 10 times was the fuel injector.

If you are not sure, you could try swapping the plug an coil with #4 and check if the code follows the coil and plug.

I did that all on the front ones and there was no change. The other thing I would question if it could potentially be number 5 In the firing order? Some of the stuff i watched, that would mean that number 5 in the firing order would actually be number 3 which is on the back side of my engine. Could the be a possibility? I dont want to have to mess with anything back there if that's not really the case as it is hard to get to

Okay. Thank you so much! Hopefully it will quit raining so I can try these things again as I replaced the plug before replacing that air intake hose so I'm wondering if it fouled out that plug too before I even realized there was a split in the hose. My husband drove it to work the day after I changed the plug but I didnt change the hose until yesterday so there could have been another foul in there

Have code p305 code on 2012 Honda Accord. I have replaced, Spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injector. Did electrical test. Code still remained so I took it to the shop auto shop double checked everything I did then did a compression test on cylinder 5 which turned out fine. Then I thought it was something to do with the timing so they read it the timing code still there.
Right before this code started. The same shop replaced the transmission and and wheel bearings. As well as another shop did the timing belt. Before this first round of repairs the car had a vibration problems but no misfire problems. New transmission and wheel bearings fixed the vibration but now I have this new p305 code

When was the last time you did a valve adjustment? I have seen many hondas with the same symptoms and the problem was the valve adjustment.

please help i have pilot 2011 when the car is cold especially in morning when i start up after 1 minute show up check engine lamp flashing with vtm lamp once i switch of then on vtm lamp disappeared and the check engine light either be steady or disappeared also but if it steady i checked the error code showing p0300 , p0305 , p0306
and sometimes when i switch of the car with the steady check engine lamp and then switch on it disappeared also
