P0562 Dodge Code - Battery System Low Voltage

P0562 -- battery voltage low. This is set if the battery voltage of the
Transmission Control Relay Output Sense circuit(s) to the PCM is less than 10.0
volts for the period of 15 seconds. Note: P0562 generally indicates a gradually
falling battery voltage or a resistive connection(s) to the PCM. The DTC will
also set if the battery voltage sensed at the PCM is less than 6.5-volts for 200
msec or where Transmission Control Relay Output circuits are less than 7.2-volts
for 200 msec.

I recently had a Jasper transmission installed in my 07 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie with the 5.7 hemi. Actually I received this code the next morning after picking up my truck from shop. My truck was dead and I needed to jump it. But it was fine the whole day and night. The next morning the same thing happened battery was dead and I needed to jump it. My battery is about a year old. It's a heavy duty Interstate battery and I checked it under a load and it was good. Also alternator was charging well. I just spent $2800 on this transmission and am not to happy right now. The shop that fixed it is closed on Sunday's so I have to call him on Monday morning. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should look at????

I mean P0562 in a dodge journey 2009

The transmission has nothing to do with the P0562 code. Start by checking the battery, and the battery it's OK then check the alternator.

Same code came up with dodge nitro 2008 and the transmission is dragging showing TOW signs on the dashboard whenever it wanted to enter auxiliary.

Pls am having the same issue with my dodge nitro 2008 model. The transmission drags and shows TOW signs on the dashboard

I need help I have the PO562 dodge caravan 2006, i replaced battery, cable, ignition coil but still doesn't start. I pulled one of the spark plugs they have gas on, but they not give spark when cranked. Any idea what can it be? Thank you

I had this error code in conjunction with a P0750 Code. My Dodge Journey would drop into "Safe Mode" and drive only in 1st or 2nd gear.

i am getting this code also. had battery and alternator checked and are fine. journey keeps going into " safe mode".

2012 Dodge Journey with the code P0562 System Voltage Low code. Checked battery, alternator, and starter. All checked out good. Car has to be jumped off to start 35% of the time. After being jumped off, outside temp reads -40 and the AC does not work properly (any adjustment to the temp changes it from AC to heat). The check engine light comes on part of the time, but does not usually does not stay on long. This morning there was a humming noise in my dash on the driver side. In hopes of saving some $, I was hoping someone might have a suggestion or could point me in the right direction.

How did you checked the battery and alternator? Unfortunately, other than the battery or alternator, I have not seen any other components triggering the P0562 code.
The AC problem could be something else, not related to the charging system problem, but if the battery gets too low it may continuously reset the system.

i have a 2011 dodge dakota and im getting P0562 code i had to jump the battery and now my accelerater pedal is not working installed new battery alternater is charging replaced accellerater pedal and throttle control as well im stumped

The P0562 code is related to the battery and charging system and should not affect the throttle pedal or throttle control. Unfortunately, my only suggestion is to check all the fuse, you may have blown a fuse during the jump start.
