I can't find anywhere on the internet where to find the TAC module in my 05 TSX!? Plz help!
-
The TAC Module is under the right side of the dash. Behind the glove box. You have to remove the right kick panel to access the module.

Yes I did end up fixing my car... All by myself also, might I add. ?
The problem was not the TAC module but the ECU. It was majorly corroded despite the fact that I'd literally just taken the car to the dealership for a recall on ECU corrosion. I ended up buying a used ECU and swapping out the immobilizer chip. Unfortunately I realized after doing the replacement that the 06 TSX uses a different type of 2nd coolant temp sensor so the computer thinks the values on my ECT2 sensor are incorrect... But other than that all the values were good based off the OBD data.
I was able to drive without the car being in limp mode after doing the replacement, but the starter went out literally after only one trip. (AND yes it was def the starter bc I removed it and tried jumping straight from fully charged battery and still nothing.. Even without the load of being on the car ). SOOOO..I just parked the POS after that bc it also needs a rack and pinion and AC compressor clutch.
