P2279 HONDA -

Question

i got code p2279, it is a 2006 acura MDX 3.5 and the scaner says there is a leak in the intake manifold but there are too many posibilities and my question is ... whre do i start ... thanks in advance

HI there,

Start by spraying carb cleaner along the intake with the engine running. If there is a leak then the engine speed should increase when the cleaner is sucked into the engine. If it doesn't then it's likely there is an issue with the mass air flow sensor.
