2000 Saturn LS2 3.0L with engine code P0030

Question

My 2000 Saturn LS2 3.0L failed emission, test result says P0030 - manufacturer-specific code. What does that mean?

This code is for the heater circuit control in the bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor. In most cases replacing the sensor will resolve the issue. Make sure to check the wiring to the sensor as well as it could cause the issue.
