Hi there,

These codes point to an issue with the bank 1 cam position sensor. The P0016 is for the correlation between the cam and the crank sensor, the P0340 is for the cam sensor itself. If the sensor has stopped working then it will kick out the P0016 code. It's also possible with this code that there is a timing issue with the car.
