This is usually the result of low fuel pressure. If it can't keep up with the demand when accelerating then it will throw this code. Also, it's possible the O2 sensor is causing the issue as well. You need to take a look at the fuel trims with a scanner and the performance of the O2 sensors when the condition is happening. Also, check the fuel pressure.
