P0460 FORD -

Question

Just replaced a leaking fuel pump in the tank. Now the Fuel gauge is stuck at the full position. The CEL is on and a code P0460 is present. Fuel gauge was working normally before fuel pump change.

This code is for the fuel sending unit. Double check the connections and if they are good you have a problem with the sending unit. This does happen sometimes, make sure the float isn't hung up in the tank causing the problem.
