Trouble Code Conditions:
Engine started, and PCM detected an unexpected (intermittent) interruption of the crankshaft speed fluctuation (CSF) sensor signal.

Possible Causes: 

• * CSF signal circuit is open or shorted to ground

• * CSF signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power (B+)

• * CSF is damaged or has failed

• * CSF pickup assembly or its pulse rotor is damaged

• * PCM has failed
