The personal OBDII reader didn't pick up the codes, went to Advanced Auto, and used their reader and that's what popped up on my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4L.

Thank you for the advice. Upon further inspection, found a plug wire had burnt through and was arcing against the motor. After changing plugs and wires, the issue no longer exist.

Any other symptoms? At some point the fuel pump may have stopped working, causing the engine to misfire. I recommend checking or replacing the fuel pump relay. If the problem persists, replace the fuel pump.
