Does the 99 Toyota Celica even have a Camshaft Position sensor? Getting the code P0340 and can’t find it. Already replaced the O2 Sensors. Check engine light keeps coming back on. Seems like some of the Celicas don’t have a Camshaft Position Sensor? Might be called a magnetic coil and is in the distributor? Is this true for the 99???? Car is running fine but trying to sell it and get rid of the check engine light.

Vehicle: 1999 Toyota Celica 2.4L

Yes, it is in the distributor. Just make sure the timing is correct. A stretched timing belt can also set the code.
