2011 Nissan Maxima SV 3.5 throwing a P1400 code.

Question

I'm getting a P1400 code on my 2011 Maxima. The car has 250K miles. The symptoms are intermittent gray exhaust on start-up and occasionally higher than normal idle (2-300 RPMs higher). No oil loss or burning. After the initial start-up, no noticeable exhaust.

When my old Altima had this problem, it was an EGR solenoid.

Any ideas on my Maxima?

Please double-check the code number, the 2011 Nissan Maxima does not use the P1400 code number or the EGR system.
